Clark Helps Blue Jays Run Win Streak to 3
The exploits of first baseman Will Clark, who finished 4th in the FL in batting average with .305 in 1990, helped the Toronto Blue Jays defeat the Detroit Tigers, 7-1. Clark was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Scott Garrelts got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 6.2 innings. Toronto now has a 3-game win streak.

Dean Palmer put Toronto in front, 2-0, when he took Tim Belcher downtown. His solo home run came with two out in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 37th home run of the season.
