The Orlando Devil Rays and New York Yankees played an exciting game at Orlando Citrus Bowl.

Orlando got a strong outing from Randy Tomlin as the Devil Rays defeated the New York Yankees, 4-2, at Orlando Citrus Bowl. Orlando reliever Rich Garces was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Mike Henneman took the loss. Frank DiPino, credited with the save, is now 13 for 18 in save opportunities.

The Devil Rays got a big boost from designated hitter Paul O'Neill who had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning off Yankees hurler Mike Henneman. It was his 25th home run of the season and put Orlando on top, 4-2.

"It was a solid team effort," said Tomlin after the game.

Orlando has now won 5 games in a row.
