|
Charlotte Knights starter Ron Robinson was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Chicago Cubs, 4-1. Robinson went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 7. His record improves to 10-5. Charlotte now has a 3-game win streak.
Nomar Garciaparra gave Charlotte a good at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double to help send Charlotte to the win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Garciaparra said after the game.
