Yankees Top White Sox Behind Bohanon, 2-1
|
New York Yankees starter Brian Bohanon was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Chicago White Sox, 2-1. Their 48-80 record puts the Yankees 5th in the Federal League East Division.
Bohanon, who was born in Denton, Texas, threw 91 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"Brian did a tremendous job," said New York manager Patrick McQuail.
