Victory Pushes Devil Rays Record to 70-58
|
The Devil Rays had to overcome a fine performance from Chicago pitcher Chris Bosio to grab a 4-2 win at Comiskey Park. Bosio allowed 4 earned runs over 9 innings. The Devil Rays bumped their record to 70-58 with this latest triumph.
Orlando took a 3-0 lead on Jay Buhner's 35th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Chicago pitcher Chris Bosio in the top of the seventh.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Orlando manager Ben Tennyson. "It's usually not just one thing."
