The Chicago Cubs electrified Wrigley Field with a thrilling, walk-off win.

Chicago starter Jeff D. Robinson pitched effectively against the Boston Red Sox at Wrigley Field. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. The win was credited to Frank DiPino in relief. His record improves to 6-4. Roger Salkeld took the loss.

With no one out in the bottom of the ninth, Eric Karros drilled a 2-run home run to left. It put Chicago ahead, 5-3. For the game, Karros went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Robinson.

Chicago now has a 4-game win streak.
