The New York Mets picked up a win at Shea Stadium, knocking off the San Francisco Giants, 9-4. Starting pitcher Jason Isringhausen, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for New York.

New York took a 7-4 lead on Greg Colbrunn's 20th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off San Francisco pitcher Jim Poole in the bottom of the seventh.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Colbrunn.
