Multi-HR Game for Gonzalez in 13-5 Win
A 4-RBI performance from the five-time All-Star Juan Gonzalez helped the Colorado Rockies beat the Baltimore Orioles, 13-5. The Rockies' win now puts them at 62-70.

The Orioles had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Rockies going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the top prospect Todd Helton came to the plate. Helton hit a 2-run home run on a 0-2 changeup from Baltimore hurler Ben McDonald. It was Helton's 26th home run of the year.

In postgame comments to the Colorado News, Gonzalez said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
