Devil Rays Continue Skid Thanks to Johnson, Marlins
The Florida Marlins powered past the Orlando Devil Rays, 8-1, at Joe Robbie Stadium. Charles Johnson went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4, to lead the charge. Florida leads the Federal League East Division by 2 games.

Johnson delivered in the bottom of the third inning for Florida. With the game tied and runners on 1st and 3rd, the catcher hit a 3-run home run to left.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Johnson told the Florida Chronicle.
