Millwood Dazzles in Washington Win
Washington Senators starter Kevin Millwood pitched effectively against the Detroit Tigers at RFK Stadium. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 5-0 win. Troy Percival converted his 32nd save in 36 tries. The second-place Senators have won 7 consecutive games.

The Senators liked what they saw from Millwood. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Tigers to no earned runs on 6 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 9.
