Damian Miller made an impact in the 4-1 St. Louis win over Milwaukee. Miller went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Creams fall to 7-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 1997 season.

Miller contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for St. Louis in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Miller took a fastball from Kenny Rogers and stroked the home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Cardinals to leap in front, 2-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said St. Louis manager Adam Rabel.
