Raucous Olympic Stadium Crowd Propels Expos to 3-1 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Montreal Expos topped the Colorado Rockies by the score of 3-1 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Division Series today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and Montreal starter Jeff Fassero, who threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball in the win.

Fassero allowed 1 run over 8 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Montreal manager David Polakoff.

The next game is scheduled for Friday at Mile High Stadium in Denver. Slated to start are Charles Nagy for the Montreal Expos and Bob Ojeda for the the Colorado Rockies.
