It was a good time at Field of the Running Rebels, where fans came to watch the Columbus Clippers and Jacksonville Suns get after it.

The Jacksonville Suns downed the Columbus Clippers, 7-3, at Field of the Running Rebels. Angel Echevarria led the way, going 3-for-4 for Jacksonville. Mike Morgan, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings.

Echevarria had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Suns went on to win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Echevarria. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The Suns raised their record to 2-2.
