Chicago left-hander Teddy Higuera made an effective start against the Minnesota Twins at Wrigley Field, leading his team to a 6-5 win. The Twins fall to 7-8 and continue their wobbly start to the 1994 season.
Chicago took advantage of an error in the bottom of the 11th inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Chris Brown hit a walk-off run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Chicago in front, 6-5.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Brown said.
