Extra-Inning Win by Blue Crabs over Dairy Daddies
The Ocean City Blue Crabs knocked off the Danville Dairy Daddies, 11-10, at Kernels Ballpark. Pedro Valdes, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Ocean City won. The designated hitter went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs. The win was Brian Bevil's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Mike Fyhrie took the loss for Danville. Greg McMichael finished the game for Ocean City and earned his 1st save.

The result might have been different for Ocean City, had it not been for Junior Felix. The right fielder produced a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blue Crabs ahead, 11-10. For the game, Felix had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ocean City skipper .

The loss drops Danville to 3-2.
