The Jacksonville Suns got a superb performance from designated hitter Eric Anthony. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Buffalo. The Bisons won the game, 6-4. In spite of the loss, Anthony was named the player of the game. He went 4-5 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Tim Fortugno closed it out for his 2nd save. Buffalo, at 5-0, is off to a blistering start.

Kevin McReynolds had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Buffalo. With the bases loaded and the Bisons leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
