Blue Crabs Fall Short, 2-1, at Milwaukee
|
The Otters had to overcome a fine performance from Ocean City pitcher Chad Ogea to grab a 2-1 win at Stags Ballpark. Ogea allowed 1 earned run over 6 innings. The winner was Milwaukee reliever Dan Miceli, now 1-0. The loser was Pep Harris. Milwaukee is off to a hot start at 6-2.
The Otters got an important contribution from designated hitter Desi Relaford, who in the bottom of the seventh hit a 2-2 fastball into center for a run-scoring single. It was his 12th hit of the season and put the Otters ahead, 2-1.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Milwaukee manager .
