Blue Crabs Get One-Run Win at Milwaukee
|
The Ocean City Blue Crabs relied on the hitting of second baseman Manny Alexander to stop the Milwaukee Otters, 5-4. For the game, Alexander was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Ocean City reliever Ramon Morel picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Mike Myers was saddled with the loss. Brian Bevil earned save number 2.
The Blue Crabs extended their lead in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, Jarvis Brown grounded out, driving in 1 run to make it 3-1, Ocean City.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Brown said.
The win gives Ocean City a record of 4-5.
