Ochoa Hits 2 home runs in Whalers Win
It was a good time at Wolves Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Danville Dairy Daddies and Hartford Whalers get after it.

The Hartford Whalers dealt the Danville Dairy Daddies a 12-8 loss at Wolves Ballpark. Alex Ochoa was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Jimmy Haynes was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Ochoa hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Whalers into the lead, 6-3.

"We came out aggressive," said Whalers manager . "We came out swinging the bats."

Losses have been few and far between for the Dairy Daddies so far this season. Their record drops to 6-3.
