Clippers Come Back Late to Top Slammers
The Columbus Clippers topped the Southeast Slammers by the score of 4-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Derrick May. May went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI for the Clippers on the day. The Slammers drop to 5-5 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1995 season.

Carter Haney went 1 for 3 for Columbus. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Rob Woodward. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Southeast manager said following the tough loss.
