Blue Crabs Continue Skid Thanks to Williams, Bisons
|
The Buffalo Bisons dealt the Ocean City Blue Crabs a 10-5 loss at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Gerald Williams was the star on offense. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Andres Berumen recorded the save for Buffalo, his 1st of the season. The Bisons, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
Momentum swung to the Bisons in the top of the fourth, when Williams, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1991 draft, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Bisons into the lead, 5-4.
"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Buffalo manager .
