Clippers Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Columbus Clippers topped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 7-4, in Atlantic action at Ballpark of Fremont. The player of the game was Columbus center fielder Kevin Sefcik. The Cyclones fall to 5-7 and continue to sputter in the early going.

It could have been a different outcome for Columbus, had it not been for Joe Girardi, the 30-year old catcher . Girardi contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Columbus up, 5-3.

"The more wins we pile up," said Sefcik, "the more I like our chances."
