Slammers Slip Past Hartford, 6-5
Southeast withstood an impressive performance by Hartford designated hitter Randy Milligan to defeat the Whalers, 6-5, at Wolves Ballpark. Milligan went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Southeast reliever Aaron Small was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Brad Cornett took the loss for Hartford. The Whalers fall to 6-7 and continue their wobbly start to the 1995 season.

Tim Costo drew 1 walk for Southeast. In the top of the 12th, with the teams deadlocked, 5-5, Costo delivered for the Slammers. His run-scoring walk put Southeast on top, 6-5.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Costo.
