Dairy Daddies Topple Red Wings with Late Rally
Dairy Daddies right fielder Joey Cora put his stamp on his team's 7-5 win over the Rochester Red Wings. Cora was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Danville in the contest. Danville reliever Mike Remlinger was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Chuck Crim took the loss for Rochester. The Red Wings fall to 6-9 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Cora had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 2-0 fastball from Chuck Crim, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Dairy Daddies a 7-5 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Cora.

"This place was electric at the end," Cora said.
