Great Day for Benitez in Moonshiners Win
The Asheville Moonshiners cruised to a 16-4 win over the Danville Dairy Daddies at Kernels Ballpark today. Yamil Benitez led the way, going 4-for-4 for Asheville. Picking up the save was Ron Villone, his 1st. The loss drops Danville to 11-11.

With Asheville leading 13-4 in the top of the ninth, Benitez came up to bat against Danville pitcher Ron Mahay. Benitez hit a fastball to right-center for a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Moonshiners on top, 16-4.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Benitez.
