Bluff City played host to Danville at the friendly confines of Ravens Ballpark.

Bluff City right-hander Joe Grahe was in fine form, shutting out the Danville Dairy Daddies, 4-0. Grahe went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-2.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. That's when third baseman Tom Evans hit a solo home run. The Beasties went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Grahe.

The win gives Bluff City a record of 13-11.
