The Danville Dairy Daddies got a sterling performance from pitcher Scott Scudder, but the Beasties still prevailed, 3-2. Scudder was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball. The Beasties, at 15-11, have now won 6 straight.
