Close Win Moves Blue Crabs to 11-13
It was a good time at Fire Dogs Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Columbus Clippers and Ocean City Blue Crabs get after it.

The Ocean City Blue Crabs eked out a 4-3 win versus the Columbus Clippers at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Darrell May, who captured player of the game honors. The Clippers fall to 11-13 and continue their uneasy start to the 1997 season.

Parking one for Ocean City was Brad Fullmer. The first baseman had a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth for the Blue Crabs. It put his team ahead, 3-2, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Fullmer was 1 for 4 with a home run.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said Columbus manager , "let me know."
