Victory Pushes Moonshiners Record to 15-13
Randall Simon left his imprint on the 8-6 Asheville win against the Savannah Swamp Foxes. Simon, who is tied for 6th in the ATL in home runs with 7, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Mike Draper closed the game out for Asheville, earning his 5th save. The Moonshiners bumped their record to 15-13 with this latest triumph.

Kevin L Brown was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI for Asheville. With no one out and the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, Brown, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1995 draft, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Savannah hurler Jay Powell, he hit a 2-run single to give the Moonshiners a 8-6 lead.
