McReynolds Helps Bisons Run Win Streak to 4
Bisons designated hitter Kevin McReynolds put his stamp on his team's 9-5 win over the Savannah Swamp Foxes. McReynolds went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Buffalo in the contest. Tim Fortugno got credit for the save for Buffalo. It was his 10th of the year. The Bisons, at 20-7, have now won 4 straight.

One important at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the second inning. Facing Savannah hurler Rick Helling, Matt Lawton, who is tied for 10th in the ATL in bases on balls with 14, hit a 2-run single. The Bisons went on to win.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Lawton told the Buffalo Citizen. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
