Dodgers Stymie Seattle, Take 4-1 Win

It was a good time at Dodger Stadium, where fans came to watch the Seattle Pilots and Los Angeles Dodgers get after it.
Los Angeles right-hander Greg Maddux pitched his team to victory over the Seattle Pilots at Dodger Stadium. The final score was 4-1. The Pilots fall to 7-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 1997 season.
Los Angeles took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With two out, center fielder Torii Hunter hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Maddux.
