7-2 Cyclones Win over Dairy Daddies Evens Season Record
|
The Brooklyn Cyclones got a stellar effort from pitcher Jason Isringhausen, helping Brooklyn score a 7-2 win over the visiting Danville Dairy Daddies. Isringhausen, the winner, moves to 3-3. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. The Cyclones' win now puts them at 19-19.
The Cyclones beat the Dairy Daddies with some clutch hitting. The home run by Chili Davis in the bottom of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Davis gave his team the lead, 3-1, when he came through with the big hit.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Davis said.
