Garcia Hits 2 home runs in Whalers Win
|
The Hartford Whalers topped the Jacksonville Suns by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Freddy F Garcia. Garcia was 2-3 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Whalers on the day. William VanLandingham, who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher.
