Asheville used a superb performance from starting pitcher Melido Perez to down the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 13-1. The second-place Moonshiners have won 14 straight.

Perez was effective against the Swamp Foxes, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Savannah to just 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings.
