The Bluff City Beasties dealt the Ocean City Blue Crabs a 8-6 loss at Ravens Ballpark. Paul Sorrento was the star on offense. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Bluff City, at 23-15, sits in second place in the Atlantic Southeast.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Sorrento went to the plate for the Beasties. With the clubs tied 6-6, he saw a 1-0 curveball from Ramon Morel and hit a 2-run home run to put the Beasties on top, 8-6.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Sorrento. "And not try to do too much."
