Victory Over Beasties Takes Hartford to 28-12
|
Tom Evans had a good game, but he could not keep the Bluff City Beasties from falling, 6-5, to the Hartford Whalers at Ravens Ballpark. The Bluff City designated hitter was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times in the loss. The winner was Chris Holt, who threw 130 pitches over 7.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 9 hits. Cory Lidle finished to wrap up his 15th save.
