Cal Ripken Jr. had an answer for everything the Brooklyn Cyclones threw at him today at Ballpark of Fremont. The Milwaukee second baseman went 6-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Otters on top, 37-6.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Ripken Jr. said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Cal Ripken Jr. hit a sac fly in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Steve Reed in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

So far this year Ripken Jr. is batting .389 with 10 home runs.
