Martinez goes 3-for-3 to Pull Otters to .500
|
Carlos A. Martinez batted in 3 runs to lead Milwaukee to a win over Ocean City. The final score was 6-1. Martinez chipped in with 2 singles and 1 home run. The win was credited to Marc Pisciotta in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Darrell May took the loss. The Otters raised their record to 22-22.
Martinez came through with some timely hitting for Milwaukee. With the score 1-1 in the bottom of the third and one down, Martinez hit a 0-1 curveball for a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season made it 3-1, Milwaukee.
