A 3-RBI performance from Aaron Boone, who is tied for 10th in the ATL in stolen bases with 3, helped the Asheville Moonshiners beat the Rochester Red Wings, 8-6. The win was Julio Machado's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ryan Karp took the loss for Rochester. The Moonshiners move to 23-19 with the win, while the Red Wings drop to 19-23.

There was more than one reason the Moonshiners beat the Red Wings, but Boone's big at-bat in the top of the 12th was an important factor. He staked his team to a 8-6 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.

"Aaron is still learning," said Moonshiners manager . "The sky's the limit for him."
