Victory Pushes Whalers Record to 31-15
|
Wil Cordero was instrumental in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Southeast Slammers. The shortstop went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Hartford Whalers. Bryan Rekar was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Hartford now has a 3-game win streak.
