Red Wings Get One-Run Win at Bluff City
Both teams had their chances, but the Rochester Red Wings eventually prevailed at Ravens Ballpark.

The Rochester Red Wings turned back the Bluff City Beasties, 7-6, at Ravens Ballpark. Rex Hudler was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Tom Urbani got the win, improving to 4-4. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 0. Chuck Crim recorded the save for Rochester, his 6th of the season.

It could have been a different outcome for Rochester, had it not been for Terrell Lowery, the 26-year old center fielder . Lowery contributed a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put Rochester up, 7-3.

"We found a way to get it done," Hudler said.

Rochester is 20-25 and Bluff City, with the loss, 24-21.
