The Rochester Red Wings managed to get by the Bluff City Beasties, 6-5, at Ravens Ballpark. Rochester pitcher Wade Taylor took player of the game honors. The save went to Tim Scott, his 2nd this season. The Red Wings' win now puts them at 21-26.
It could have been a different outcome for Rochester, had it not been for Jacob Brumfield, the 31-year old center fielder . Brumfield contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Rochester up, 4-3.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Brumfield.
