Savannah Swamp Foxes starter David Nied pitched a strong game against the Ocean City Blue Crabs at Fire Dogs Ballpark, leading the Swamp Foxes to a 8-3 win. This win makes it 5 in a row for Savannah.

Savannah used the bat of Jacob Cruz to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Swamp Foxes ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Nied.
