Blue Crabs Hold Off Swamp Foxes, 5-4
Despite a great performance by Savannah left fielder Jacob Cruz, the Ocean City Blue Crabs defeated the Swamp Foxes by the score of 5-4 at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Cruz was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. The Blue Crabs bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.

Pedro Valdes aided the Ocean City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 1.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Valdes said.
