Bowen Spins Shutout Against Asheville
|
The Jacksonville Suns rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Asheville Moonshiners at Torrance Grounds today. Leading the way to victory was starter Ryan Bowen, who shackled the Asheville Moonshiners and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Bowen said in his postgame press conference.
So far this season Bowen has a record of 3-4 with 33 strikeouts and 35 walks in 57.1 innings and a 6.28 ERA.
