Suns Turn Back Bluff City, 4-2
|
Jacksonville turned a good effort from starter Mike Morgan into a win over the Bluff City Beasties at Field of the Running Rebels. The final score was 4-2. The win boosts the Suns to 24-25. The loss puts the Beasties at 26-23.
Doug Mirabelli put Jacksonville in front, 4-1, when he took Mike K Johnson downtown. His 2-run home run came with two out in the bottom of the third. It was his 6th home run of the season.
"I take a professional approach to my job," said Morgan. "I've been around this game for a while."
