The Buffalo Bisons got a stellar performance from pitcher Kevin Foster, who handcuffed the Brooklyn offense en route to a 7-1 win at Ballpark of Fremont. Buffalo leads the Atlantic Northeast by 3½ games.

Foster scattered 7 hits over 8 innings for the Bisons. With the win, Foster moves to 7-3 on the year with 109 strikeouts.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Foster told the Buffalo Citizen. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
