The 1995 season is getting ugly for Toledo.

The Columbus Clippers topped the Toledo Mud Hens, 3-0, in Atlantic action at Mules Ballpark. The player of the game was Columbus pitcher and Antioch, California native Jeff Pico. Doug Simons earned the save, his 12th, for the Clippers.

Pico tossed 112 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Clippers. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.

"We didn't score," said losing manager . "That was the problem."

The losing skid has reached 6 games for Toledo.
