Beasties Get Past Asheville for 4-3 Win
|
The Bluff City Beasties eked out a 4-3 win versus the Asheville Moonshiners at Ravens Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Joe Grahe, who captured player of the game honors. With the win, Bluff City goes to 29-23, while the Moonshiners fall to 28-24.
Jeff Treadway was vital part of the Bluff City win. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the ninth with two out, Treadway hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It made the score 4-3, in favor of the Beasties.
"We put together a nice win," Treadway said.
