Kelly Delivers Walk-Off Win for Senators
|
Washington overcame a superlative game from Roger Clemens to beat Los Angeles, 3-2. The Los Angeles pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. The Dodgers fall to 7-10 and continue their lackluster start in 1995.
Pat F. Kelly had an important at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the 12th, when he hit a run-scoring single. His 3rd hit of the season put Washington on top, 3-2.
"We did enough to win," said Kelly.
