The Buffalo Bisons beat the Danville Dairy Daddies, 11-5, at Kernels Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Kevin McReynolds, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Bill Wilkinson in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Oswaldo Peraza took the loss. Buffalo leads the Atlantic Northeast by 2½ games.

In the top of the second, with Buffalo trailing 2-1, third baseman Damion Easley hit a 3-run home run. The hit came off Oswaldo Peraza and put the Bisons ahead, 4-2.

"It feels good to get this one," McReynolds told the Buffalo Citizen.
